Terms and Conditions – The Export Great Walk In

1.      Summer’s most sought-after great walks are sold out, so Export made its own. Export is inviting you to take on a one-day coastal trail through the stunning private Pahi track in the Coromandel (Promotion).

Sponsor/Promoter

  1. The Promoter is DB Breweries Limited (Promoter), 1 Bairds Road, Otahuhu, Auckland.  The Promoter can be contacted on 0800 102 337 free of charge from landlines within New Zealand.

Entry Requirements

3.      The Promotion will run from 9am on 20 October 2025 until the earlier of:

a.      all the tickets being purchased by participants; or

b.      the date of the event (Promotion Period).

 

4.      To enter the Promotion, participants must successfully purchase tickets on Crushed Walk within the Promotion Period.

 

5.      Tickets are $60 (including GST), plus any booking fee and payment processing fees. Each participant may purchase a maximum of two tickets (Purchase).

 

6.      By purchasing a ticket, participants acknowledge that they have a moderate fitness level and can physically and safely complete a 6km walk on uneven terrain.

 

7.      Participants may be required to sign a Participation Agreement upon arrival.

 

Experience Details

8.      The Export Great Walk Experience includes:

a.      Return transport to Pahi leaving from Downtown Auckland on Saturday 15th November. Transport includes both shuttle/bus and helicopter (a detailed itinerary will be provided upon purchase of tickets).

b.      A guided walk of part of the Pahi Coastal trail.

c.      Export Beer Garden experience. (Experience).

 

Helicopter Travel

9.      By proceeding with the Purchase, participants acknowledge the following:

a.      All passengers agree to be transported via helicopter and acknowledge this mode of travel is subject to unique operational requirements and potential risks inherent to aviation.

b.      Passengers voluntarily assume all risks associated with their participation in the helicopter flight, including the risk of personal injury, death, property damage, or loss.

c.      Limitation of Liability and Waiver: in consideration for being permitted to participate in the flight, each passenger agrees to release, waive, and discharge the Promoter, the helicopter operator, and their owners, agents, and employees from any and all claims, demand, and liabilities for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

d.      The Promoter and operator are not liable for any consequential losses or additional costs incurred as a result of flight delays or cancellations.

e.      Weight disclosure: all passengers will be required to disclose their approximate weight prior to travel. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of ticket.

f.        Safety briefing: passengers must attend and comply with all instructions given during the pre-flight safety briefing and any directions from the pilot or ground crew.

g.       Prohibited items: no dangerous goods are permitted on board. The pilot in command has final authority over what may be carried on the aircraft.

h.      Timeliness: passengers must arrive at the designated check-in point at the specified time. Late arrivals may result in cancellation of their flight and forfeiture of their ticket.

i.        All flights are subject to favourable weather and operational conditions. The Promoter or helicopter operator may cancel or reschedule or reschedule flights for safety reasons.

j.        In the event the flight cannot proceed as scheduled, the Promoter will use reasonable efforts to reschedule the experience. 

 

10.  Participants must be available on the Saturday 15th November

 

11.  Tickets are non-refundable unless you purchase Ticket Protection at the time of purchase (this is subject to Eventfinda’s Ticket Promotion Terms and Conditions). Tickets cannot be transferred or resold for profit without the Promoter’s consent.

 

12.  By entering the Promotion, you agree to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, rules and guidelines relating to the Promotion, including those outlined on DB’s website (DB's General Terms and Conditions for Promotions).

DB’s General Terms and Conditions for Promotions

1.        These general terms & conditions are applicable to all Promotions run by DB Breweries Limited (“Promoter”).  By entering into the applicable Promotion (“Promotion”), you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between these general terms and conditions and the specific terms and conditions for any Promotion, the specific terms and conditions will take precedence.

2.        To participate in and/or claim a prize in the Promotion, you must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident aged 18 years or over.

3.        The applicable promotional period and the dates of the Experience comprising the Promotion will be as stated in the specific terms and conditions for each Promotion. Unless otherwise stated in the specific terms and conditions, purchases will close at midnight on the closing date of the Promotional Period.  No purchases will be accepted outside of the applicable Promotional Period. 

4.        Any Purchase not made by an individual consumer in the method prescribed above in the specific terms and conditions of the Promotion, will be invalid.

5.        The Promoter reserves the right to cancel any tickets purchased by a Participant in excess of the two-ticket maximum.

6.        The Promoter will endeavour to ensure that all relevant means of Purchase into the Promotion are available at all times during the promotional period but cannot guarantee availability and is not liable for any disruptions or system failure.  The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cease any means of Purchase into the Promotion at its sole discretion.

7.        In the event of a dispute the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

8.        The Promoter reserves the right at any time to suspend or modify the Promotion, or these terms & conditions, without prior notice and for any reason whatsoever at its discretion.

9.        The Promoter may refuse participation in the Experience to any participant if, in the Promoter’s sole opinion, that participant has violated the specific and/or general terms and conditions of the Promotion or has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion.

10.    The Promoter may refuse to allow a participant in the Experience if that participant has a criminal conviction, particularly (but not limited to) where those convictions involve anti-social or violent behaviour or drink-driving. This forms part of the Promoter’s commitment to being a responsible producer and marketer of alcoholic beverages.

11.    The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, change, substitute or remove the Experience at its absolute discretion. The Promoter will not be responsible for the cancellation or postponement of the Experience.

12.    Participants agree that the Promoter (and its agents and contractors) may collect and retain their personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and for future promotions carried out by the Promoter and its associated companies. By participating, you consent to the Promoter and its associated companies contacting you via electronic means which you may unsubscribe from at any time.  Participants have the right to request access to their personal information held by or on behalf of the Promoter and to update or to remove any such information. All such requests should be directed to the Promoter in writing at privacy@db.co.nz.

13.    By participating in the Promotion, participants consent to the use of their name and photograph for any promotional purposes carried out by the Promoter. Participants may be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from the Promotion. Unless otherwise specified by the Promoter, no additional compensation will be provided by the Promoter for such participation.

14.    Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this Promotion will be liable to any person in any way in relation to this Promotion including, without limitation, any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) due to any changes to the activity schedule for any reason, including changes to the date, time, location, any death or personal injury howsoever suffered or sustained, the cancellation or postponement for any reason of the Prize and the quality of goods or services supplied by any third party, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15.    Where the Promotion is housed on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook/Instagram/TikTok, and Facebook/Instagram/ TikTok has no liability whatsoever (and is released from any liability) to any entrant in this Promotion.

16.    The Promoter makes no product representation or warranties, expressed or implied and disclaims any and all liability, as to the condition, quality, merchantability or fitness for use of the Experience.

17.    Failure to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions will result in an invalid purchase and disqualification.

18.    All Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

19.    No part of this page may be distributed or copied for any commercial purpose. No other use (including publishing, copying or reformatting) of the page or its content is permitted without the Promoter’s prior written consent.

20.    Any information or material that you submit to the Promoter, including photos, ideas and suggestions, will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary and will become the property of the Promoter so that they may reproduce, publish, disclose, modify or adapt it without restriction or payment to you.

21.    The inclusion of a third party website link on this page should not be taken as an endorsement by the Promoter of that website. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the content or functionality of a third party website, or for the quality of products or services which may be offered on that website.

22.    You may not link your website to this page without the Promoter’s consent. The Promoter reserves the right to prohibit links to this page and you agree to remove or cease any link upon request from the Promoter. You may not frame any part of the material on this page by including advertising or other generating material.

24.    Heineken and the DB family of trademarks are registered trademarks in New Zealand. Nothing in these Terms of Use grants any licence or right to use any trade mark or logo of DB or its licensors.
